Formed in 2004, Safe Harbor Counseling Center (SHCC) operates under the leadership of a Board of Directors. As a 501 (C)3 agency, SHCC is dedicated to providing professional counseling from a Christian perspective at an affordable cost to Parker and surrounding counties. Our desire is to be an extension of God’s grace, mercy, and healing.

Safe Harbor exists because of the generosity of churches, individuals, and businesses who believe the key to a better community lies in emotional wellness of the individual family. Referrals are welcome from churches, community agencies, medical facilities, and the general public. A Helping Ministry Option is available to churches and other agencies where their members or employees may obtain counseling at a reduced rate in return for monthly support of Safe Harbor Counseling. We will be glad to arrange for your staff to visit one of our locations: Weatherford. Azle, or Springtown.

Mission Statement

Safe Harbor Counseling Center provides a full range of counseling services that support and promote personal growth, positive family relationships, and emotional and spiritual well-being. We provide counseling services from the perspective of Christian, biblically based principles in order to equip the client to live a Christ-centered life in the home, vocation and community.

We provide counseling services on a sliding scale, allowing persons of all income levels to have quality professional services.
